The Management Committee (MC) has requested the BEREC Office through the BEREC Office Work Programme 2016, and in particular point 4.2.4.2, to develop and implement a Traineeship Programme. Therefore the BEREC Office tabled a draft MC Decision with the objective to establish the legal framework for such a programme.

The MC approved the Decision during its 27th ordinary plenary meeting, which took place on 3 June 2016 in Vienna (Austria), kindly hosted by the Austrian Regulatory Authority for Broadcasting and Telecommunications  (RTR).

Following the adoption of this Decision the BEREC Office Administrative Manager will launch the first session of the Traineeship Programme in the 2nd half of 2016.
