On 26 February 2016 the BEREC Office Management Committee appointed the European Commission Accounting Officer as the BEREC Office Accounting Officer. Following the signature of a Service Level Agreement between the BEREC Office and Directorate General for Budget of the European Commission the appointment of the Accounting Officer of the European Commission as the BEREC Office Accounting Officer takes effect on 18 April 2016.

The appointment of the interim Accounting Officer of the BEREC Office is revoked as of the same date, namely 18 April 2016. The current letter is sent to the European Court of Auditors, the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union in compliance with the provisions of Article 65 (8) of Regulation (EU, Euratom) No 966/2012.
