Description
ÉletMento is the official emergency assistance mobile application of the Hungarian National Ambulance Service (Országos Mentoszolgálat – OMSZ).
The application enables users to request emergency medical assistance directly from their smartphone. During an emergency request, the app can transmit accurate location data (GPS-based), user profile information (if provided), and allow real-time text-based communication between the caller and the emergency dispatch centre.
The service is designed to support situations where voice communication is difficult or impossible and to improve response time and situational awareness for emergency services.
The application can be used with or without prior registration. Registration is optional and allows users to store additional medical information (e.g. known illnesses, allergies), which can be made available to emergency responders during an incident.
