The Ministry of Transport and Construction, in cooperation with the Research Institute of Communications, implemented a project “Interactive EMF map” providing EMF intensity information in selected places in Slovakia with different population density, while measurements were performed at different times of the day. Based on the measured values, it was identified that the highest measured value represented approximately 15% of the permissible action value set by the Regulation of the Government of the Slovak Republic no. 209/2016 Coll. on minimum health and safety requirements for the protection of employees from the risks related to exposure to electromagnetic fields of the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic:

A lot of worries of 5G comes from ignorance and the only possible way is to explain and fight with hoaxes. RU is trying to inform public about hoaxes through its website and social media:

By decision of the Minister of Transport and Construction, “5G working group” was established as the advisory body of the Ministry.

The “5G working group” performs tasks focused mainly on the prevention of the spread of misinformation and hoaxes in the field of 5G networks and the sharing of expertise and relevant information in the field of 5G networks between scientific institutions, academia, public administration and professional associations.

“5G working group” in cooperation with Communication Department of the Ministry and with spokesperson of the NRA has created the awareness campaign based on digital literacy, education and transparency.

“5G working group” provides citizens with clear information from credible sources on EMF public exposure when introducing 5G technology, which will enable citizens to critically evaluate the available information.

The Ministry of Transport and Construction of the SR has published document “The support of 5G networks development in Slovakia for 2020 - 2025”:
