Statement of revenue and expenditure for the 2023 financial year – Agency for Support for BEREC (BEREC Office) – amending budget No 1

In compliance with the provisions of Article 31(2) of Decision No MB/2019/13 of the Management Board (MB) of the BEREC Office on the financial regulation applicable to the BEREC Office, the BEREC Office has published in the Official Journal of the European Union the summary of the BEREC Office amending budget No 1 for 2023.

The summary presents the aggregated figures for each Title of the budget of the BEREC Office, the establishment plan and an estimate of the number of contract staff expressed in full-time equivalents for which appropriations are budgeted, and seconded national experts. It also indicates the equivalent information for the previous financial year.

The Statement of revenue and expenditure of the BEREC Office for the financial year 2023 – amending budget No 1 was adopted by the MB on 29/06/2023 and can be consulted in all official languages of the European Union here.                                        

On 16/03/2023, the European Commission adopted draft Amending Budget No 1 of the General Budget of the EU accommodating technical adjustments, which contained a proposal authorising the BEREC Office to establish an additional temporary agent post for its accounting officer on a budgetary neural way. In line with the provisions of Article 23(3) and Article 24(7) of the BEREC Regulation, the MB amended the Single Programming Document (SPD) for 2023-2025 and the annual budget for 2023 to align them with the amendment to the General Budget of the EU.
