The ERG has published today the second release of its guidelines on roaming, covering charges, welcome SMS and other provisions.  Please find the guidelines here.  The guidelines are effective from today, but the ERG invites comments on this second release until 5 September.  Comments can be sent to the ERG Secretariat at [email protected] with the wording "Comments 2nd Roaming Guidelines" in the subject header.
Also today, ERG published for consultation a detailed draft model data specification.  This data specification will form the core data set required by NRAs in supervising and monitoring compliance with the roaming Regulation.  ERG expects to publish a report, drawing on information gathered using this data specification, on the roaming regulation at the end of this year.  Comments can be sent to the ERG Secretariat at [email protected] until 5 September with the wording "Comments Data Model - Roaming" in the subject header.
