BEREC has adopted a BEREC opinion on a Phase II investigation: Case DE/2013/1460

On 20 June 2013 the European Commission informed the German National Regulatory Authority BNetzA and BEREC about its serious doubts on a draft measure concerning  call termination on individual public telephone networks provided at a fixed location (market 3) in Germany.

 Following its role and rules BEREC adopted its opinion on 1 August 2013, stating that the expressed serious doubts by the European Commission are justified. More specific information about the serious doubts of the European Commission and BEREC’s assessment can be found here.
