Amendment No 1 to the 2025 Budget and Establishment Plan of the Agency for Support for BEREC ('BEREC Office')
In accordance with Article 23 of the BEREC Regulation and Article 32 of the BEREC Office Financial Regulation, the Management Board (MB) of the BEREC Office adopted the BEREC Office Single Programming Document (SPD) for the period 2025-2027 on 18 December 2024. The SPD for 2025-2027 includes, inter alia, the multiannual and annual work programmes, estimates of revenues and expenditures, and the sources of financing. At the same time, and in line with Article 24 of the BEREC Regulation, the MB adopted the BEREC Office Budget and Establishment Plan for 2025.
Following the incorporation of Regulation (EU) 2018/1971 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 December 2018 into the European Economic Area (EEA) Agreement, which entered into force on 1 February 2025, the BEREC Office became entitled to receive annual EFTA contributions.
On 6 June 2025, the Management Board adopted Amendment No 1 to the 2025 Budget and Establishment Plan of the Agency for Support for BEREC (BEREC Office) in order to incorporate an EFTA contribution of EUR 226,237.00. The amendment is therefore of a technical nature. As a result, the BEREC Office Statement of Revenue and Statement of Expenditure for the financial year 2025 increased by EUR 226,237.00, from EUR 8,125,577 to EUR 8,351,814. The establishment plan and the estimated number of contract staff (expressed in full-time equivalents) and seconded national experts (SNEs) remained unchanged.
