Decision No MB/2026/07 of the Management Board of the Agency for Support for BEREC (BEREC Office) for applying Decision C(2026) 634 final of 5 February 2026 on the general provisions for implementing Articles 11(1), and 13(2) point b of Annex VII to the Staff Regulations of Officials

On 5 February 2026, the European Commission adopted Decision C(2026) 634 final, amending Decision C(2002) 98, which establishes the rates of daily subsistence allowances and the maximum reimbursable hotel expenses for missions conducted outside the European territory of the Member States of the European Union. The amendment introduces specific daily subsistence allowance rates and hotel expense ceilings applicable to missions taking place in the United Kingdom (UK).

This decision entered into force within the Commission on the date of its adoption, i.e. 5 February 2026.

In line with the Staff Regulations, Commission staff implementing rules apply by analogy to all agencies and take effect at the agencies nine months after the Commission's notification. However, to ensure earlier compliance with these rules, the BEREC Office Management Board adopted Decision MB/2026/07, which ensures that the new EC mission rules apply to the BEREC Office as of 5 February 2026.
