The currently applicable rules on the reimbursement of travel, subsistence and other expenses incurred in the course of journeys made by persons not employed by the BEREC Office are established by Decision № MC/2013/05 that was adopted by the BEREC Office Management Committee (MC) on 6 June 2013.

On several occasion the NRAs have expressed their views that the aforementioned Decision needs to be further adapted to the specificities of BEREC work. Therefore during its 24th Plenary meeting (2 October 2015, Riga), the MC discussed the BEREC Office policy on reimbursement and approved the current Decision.

It entered into force on the day of its adoption and repealed Decision № MC/2013/05 (Decision by the MC of the BEREC Office concerning the reimbursement of travel, subsistence and other expenses incurred in the course of journeys made by persons not employed by the BEREC Office and repealing the previous Management Committee Decision № mc/2012/2 of 24 February 2012).
