Decision MB/2024/10 of the BEREC Office Management Board on the designation of the Reporting Officers of the BEREC Office Director for the probationary and management trial period
According to the provision of Article 32 (1) of Regulation (EU) 2018/1971 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 December 2018 establishing the Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications (BEREC) and the BEREC Office, amending Regulation (EU) 2015/2120 and repealing Regulation (EC) No 1211/20091, the Director of the BEREC Office should be engaged as a temporary agent of the BEREC Office in accordance with point (a) of Article 2 of the CEOS.
Consequently, the newly engaged Director of the BEREC Office is subject to nine month probationary period and to a management trial period with a view to assess the ability of the Director to perform his/her duties, his/her efficiency and conduct in the service. The provisions on the probationary period, management trial period and appraisal of the Director are set in Decision No MB/2022/052.
The appraisers of the Director (e.g. ‘the Reporting Officers’), shall be:
I. The Chair of the BEREC Office Advisory Group (BAG);
II. At least one MB member appointed by the MB from amongst its members;
The European Commission (EC) representative in the MB shall be amongst the appointed reporting officers.
