Decision of the BEREC Office Management Board on the designation of the Reporting Officers to appraise the Director of the BEREC Office

According to the provision of Article 32 (1) of Regulation (EU) 2018/1971 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 December 2018 establishing the Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications (BEREC) and the Agency for Support for BEREC (BEREC Office), amending Regulation (EU) 2015/2120 and repealing Regulation (EC) No 1211/2009, the Director of the BEREC Office should be engaged as a temporary agent of the BEREC Office in accordance with point (a) of Article 2 of the CEOS.

Consequently, the Director of the BEREC Office is subject to an annual appraisal with a view to assess the ability of the Director to perform his/her duties, his/her efficiency and conduct in the service.

According to Decision of the BEREC Office Management Board on the probationary period, management trial period andconcerning the appraisal of the Director and repealing Decision MC (10) 26 concerning the appraisal for the administrative manager  and in particular Article 2 (1) the reporting officers for the annual appraisal of the Director shall be the Chair of the BEREC Office Advisory Group (BAG) appointed by the MB in line with the provisions of point 4(3) of the BAG Rules of Procedure and at least one MB member appointed by the MB from amongst its members.

In that respect on 9 December 2022 the MB took the current Decision on the designation of the Reporting Officers to appraise the Director of the BEREC Office for the reporting period from 01.01. to 31.12.2022.
