MC Decision laying down implementing rules on temporary occupation of management posts

In 2012 the MC adopted a Decision laying down the implementing rules for implementing Article 7(2) of the Staff Regulations as regards temporary occupation of management posts[1]. Following the amendment to the Staff Regulations, which entered into force on 1 January 2014, the European Commission (EC) adopted new staff implementing rules on the matter, which should have been applied to the BEREC Office 9 months after their adoption/notification to the Agency.

However, as the EC Decision was not suitable for the organisational structure of the decentralised agencies and joint undertakings, the EC, in the interests of simplification and administrative efficiency, has developed a model decision on the subject, which should be customised to take into account the structure of each body
