According to Article 14 of the BEREC Regulation the internal Auditor of the Commission is responsible for auditing the BEREC Office.

In compliance with the provisions of Article 115 of the Rules of Application of the Financial Regulation (applicable to the BEREC Office through Article 114 of the BEREC Office Financial Regulation) the BEREC Office has toprovide the internal auditor with a mission charter detailing his tasks, duties and obligations.

Therefore, during its 22nd plenary meeting the BEREC Office Management Committee (27 February 2015, Berne) approved a Mission Charter of the Internal Audit Service (IAS), which was signed by the Chair of the Management Committee and the BEREC Office Administrative Manager on the day of its approval, namely: 27 February 2015.

The current Mission Charter replaces the Mission Charter signed in 2011 and registered under No MC (11) 21.
