Let’s meet in person at the BEREC public debriefing on 12 October 2023!

BEREC invites stakeholders to attend its only physical public debriefing of 2023. For those who cannot join us in person, the debriefing is being livestreamed. The public debriefing is being held on Thursday, 12 October 2023, at 14:00 CET at the IRG Secretariat, Rue de la Science 14, in Brussels.

Debriefing contents and access to documents

During the debriefing, the BEREC Chair, Prof. Kostas Masselos (EETT, Greece), together with the incoming BEREC Chair Tonko Obuljen (HAKOM, Croatia) and several Working Group Co-chairs, will present the documents approved at the latest Board of Regulators ordinary meeting, together with the election results for the BEREC Chair 2025 and the new composition of the BEREC mini-board 2024. 

The incoming BEREC Chair will inform about the public consultation on next year’s draft BEREC Work Programme. Earlier this year, stakeholders were invited to send their proposals for the planning document. From 12 October 2023, stakeholders will have another opportunity to contribute to the draft BEREC Work Programme 2024. 
 
The final Agenda of the public debriefing will be published on the BEREC website after the BEREC ordinary meetings (as of 9 October 2023), and the adopted documents will be published on 11 October 2023, allowing stakeholders to familiarise themselves with the relevant documents before the public debriefing. 

Format of the event
The physical public debriefing is a valuable opportunity for stakeholders to meet the BEREC Chair, the incoming BEREC Chair and some of the Working Group Co-chairs in person. For other stakeholders, they have the opportunity to follow the event online. The link to the livestreaming will be available on the BEREC website shortly before 14:00 CET on 12 October 2023.

To participate in the event, you must register in advance. Due to limited seating at the IRG Secretariat, registration for on-site participation will close once the maximum number of seats is reached.

Stakeholder participation
Stakeholders are invited to engage with speakers at the debriefing during the Q&A sessions. Please submit your questions through the registration form beforehand (any complex or detailed questions can be sent to [email protected]) and by the end of business on 10 October 2023.

During the debriefing, stakeholders following the livestreaming can submit questions via a dedicated Q&A box on the BEREC website.
