Call for Inputs on the amended template used for the roaming data collection
Deadline to submit contributions: 3 July 2026
Background
The input gathered during the Call for Inputs on the possible amendment of the BEREC Roaming Benchmark Data Collection procedure in March 2026 indicated a preference for maintaining the status quo and continuing to collect data on a quarterly basis (Q4 of Year X to Q3 of Year X+1). Based on stakeholders’ feedback, it was decided to keep the basic elements of the data collection, i.e. to continue gathering quarterly data and to continue launching the data collection every autumn.
Aim
In light of the Roam-Like-At-Home expansion to Ukraine and Moldova that took place on 1 January 2026, and the simplification proposals included in the 2025 BEREC Opinion on Regulation (EU) 2022/612 on roaming on public mobile communications networks within the Union, amendments were made in the template used for the roaming data collection. BEREC would like to consult with operators on those amendments.
Submit your contributions
Submit your comments on the revised template (including questions on indicators for which you need more clarification) via the prepared EU Survey by Friday, 3 July 2026, preferably in English.
All stakeholders are strongly encouraged to submit their contributions as early as possible. Contributions received after the deadline mentioned above will not be considered.
