James is Director of Corporate Social Responsibility at Eutelsat, where he leads the definition and implementation of the company’s CSR strategy. His role focuses on advancing sustainability across the business, ensuring compliance with European regulations such as the CSRD, with which Eutelsat has been fully compliant from its first year of application, and promoting the responsible use of space. A core part of his mission is driving the Group’s carbon management strategy, from emissions measurement and reporting to CDP disclosures and the Group’s carbon trajectory roadmap validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).

With over 20 years of experience at Eutelsat, James has held a range of leadership positions across operations, project management, infrastructure, and transversal programs. Before taking on CSR responsibilities, he led major transformation initiatives and oversaw teleport infrastructure in France and Italy.

James holds a degree in Aerospace Engineering from Kingston University in London.
