Dr. Klaus Steinmaurer has been the Executive Director of the Telecommunications and Postal Services division of Rundfunk und Telekom Regulierungs-GmbH (Rundfunk und

Telekom Regulierungs-GmbH) since 1 July 2019. Prior to his appointment, he was the Vice-President of International Regulatory Affairs for Europe at Deutsche Telekom AG until mid-2018, and responsible for all group regulatory activities in Europe. Dr. Steinmaurer has been working in the telecommunications sector for almost 30 years. In addition to legal expertise in regulatory matters, he has also acquired broad economic and technical knowledge. He has been active also in academia for many years on a part-time basis.
