Marita Jansson is Head of Infra Strategy, Portfolio Management & Fixed Telephony at Telia Sweden. With more than 35 years of experience across mobile and fixed networks, IT and national infrastructure development, she has held several senior leadership roles shaping Sweden’s telecom landscape.

Since 2015, Marita has led Sweden’s nationwide copper decommissioning, one of the country’s most extensive modernisation programs. Her work has enabled the transition from legacy copper to resilient, future-proof digital infrastructure - a transformation that has positioned Sweden as a European frontrunner in large-scale fixed network migration.
