Dr. Jurgita Butkevičienė is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Vilnius University, Lithuania. Her research and teaching focus on entrepreneurship, inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystems, institutional change, digitalisation and digital transformation, and social sustainability. Her research has been published in internationally recognized journals, including the Journal of International Management and the International Journal of Disaster Risk Reduction, as well as with leading academic publishers such as Palgrave Macmillan, Edward Elgar Publishing, and Routledge. Her work examines how institutional innovation, digital transformation, and inclusive policies shape entrepreneurial ecosystems and sustainable business practices.

Dr. Butkevičienė brings more than 20 years of professional experience across the business, government, and non-governmental sectors. She is part of the Lithuanian team at the global foresight think tank The Millennium Project and a member of the Academy of International Business.
