Lidia Best is an internationally recognised expert in accessibility, hearing loss inclusion, and disability rights, with extensive experience shaping policy and standards at European and global levels. She serves as President of the European Federation of Hard of Hearing People (EFHOH), where she represents the interests of millions of hard-of-hearing citizens across the European Union and works closely with EU institutions, national governments, and civil society partners to advance communication access, inclusive employment, and equitable hearing care. Lidia is also Chair of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Joint Coordination Activity on Accessibility and Human Factors (JCA AHF).
