Conclusions from the BEREC 2017 1st Contact Network Meeting (2-3 February 2017, Malmo)

The 1st meeting of the BEREC Contact Network (CN) for 2017 took place on 2 and 3 February 2017 in Malmo (Sweden) kindly hosted by the Swedish Post and Telecom Authority (PTS).The meeting was chaired by Anne Lenfant – Director of European and International Affairs (Arcep) - the representative of the BEREC Chair 2017, Sebastien Soriano – President of Arcep.

The meeting was attended by senior representatives of the NRAs with primary responsibility for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the markets for electronic communications networks and services. NRAs from the EU Member States, from the EEA countries and from the States that are candidates for accession to the EU were represented. Representatives of the EFTA Surveillance Authority (ESA) and the European Commission also attended the meeting.

The objective of the meeting was to prepare the 30th ordinary plenary meetings of the BEREC Board of Regulators (BoR) and the BEREC Office Management Committee (MC) due to take place on 23 and 24 February 2017 in Paris (France).
