BEREC events 2012

The 3^rdmeeting of the BEREC Contact Network (CN) took place on 6 and 7 September 2012 in Stockholm, kindly hosted by the Swedish Post and Telecom Authority (PTS).

The CN is a specific type of Expert Working Group, composed of senior representatives of all Members and chaired by a representative of the Chair of the Board of Regulators. Its members have a mandate to speak on behalf of their NRAs.

The CN ensures coordination of all proposals to be considered by the Board of Regulators and the Management Committee of the BEREC Office. The Board of Regulators may also decide to delegate some of its duties to the CN.

The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Mr Sven Gschweitl, Head of International Relations of the Austrian Regulatory Authority for Broadcasting and Telecommunications (RTR-GmbH) and Chair of the Contact Network for 2012.

The meeting discussed all topics to be passed to the Board of Regulators and the Management Committee of the BEREC Office during their forthcoming meetings to take place in Limassol on 26 and 27 September 2012.
