On 24 February 2027 BEREC will bring together stakeholders from across the electronic communications sector at its 15th Stakeholder Forum to discuss regulatory priorities, market developments and the future of Europe’s digital connectivity. The event brings together representatives of national regulatory authorities, EU institutions, industry, consumer organisations, academia and civil society. The BEREC flagship event will be held in person and will also be livestreamed on LinkedIn and YouTube.

The annual Stakeholder Forum is a key platform for open dialogue between BEREC and its stakeholders, providing an opportunity to exchange views on the main developments shaping the electronic communications sector and to discuss issues relevant to BEREC’s regulatory work.

Discussing priorities for Europe’s digital connectivity

The 15th BEREC Stakeholder Forum will provide a space to discuss current and emerging challenges in electronic communications, including developments in digital networks, connectivity objectives, and the implementation of EU digital policies.

Participants will exchange views on how regulation can continue to support competitive markets, investment, innovation and the availability of secure, resilient and high-quality connectivity for citizens and businesses across Europe.

The discussions will contribute to BEREC’s ongoing work by gathering perspectives from a broad range of stakeholders and supporting transparent, inclusive and evidence-based regulation.

Meet with the BEREC Chair 2028

For the first time, the 15th BEREC Stakeholder Forum will offer participants a unique opportunity to engage directly with the BEREC Chair 2028, Michel Van Bellinghen (BIPT, Belgium), through dedicated sessions. This format will allow stakeholders to have a short, focused one-to-one exchange with the incoming Chair, share their perspectives, raise key questions and discuss issues of particular relevance to the electronic communications sector. A total of 17 slots will be available, with each meeting lasting 10 minutes. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Meet&Greet sessions with BEREC Working Group Co-Chairs

A popular feature of the Stakeholder Forum will once again be the Meet&Greet sessions with the Co-Chairs of BEREC’s Working Groups. These informal in-person exchanges allow participants to speak directly with the experts leading BEREC’s work across a wide range of regulatory areas.

The sessions offer a practical, accessible setting to discuss ongoing activities, raise emerging issues, and share insights from different parts of the sector. They also provide a closer look at BEREC’s priorities, working methods and current areas of focus, while strengthening direct dialogue between regulators and stakeholders.

Practical information

The event will take place at Maison de la Poste in Brussels. Further information on the agenda, speakers and practical arrangements will be published in due course on the BEREC website.
