Decision of the BEREC Office Management Board authorising the use of one additional provisional 12th for commitment and payment appropriations in the provisional budget 2021

Adoption of the BEREC Office budget and establishment plan 2021 is anticipated in the coming weeks. In the meantime, as provided in BEREC Office Financial Regulation BEREC Office is operating under the provisional 12th regime of the budget 2021. The provisional 12th regime envisages that commitments may be made per chapter up to a maximum of one quarter of the total appropriations authorised in the relevant chapter of the budget for the preceding financial year. Payments may be made monthly per chapter up to a maximum of one twelfth of the appropriations authorised in the relevant chapter of the budget for the preceding financial year. In compliance with Article 15(4) Decision MB/2019/13 if the continuity of BEREC Office action and management needs so require, the management board may, at the request of the director, authorise expenditure in excess of one provisional twelfth. This decision grants the authorisation of one provisional 12th of payment appropriations to the BEREC Office provisional budget 2021.
