BEREC Stakeholder Workshop on Relevant Markets. Deadline for registration 14.02.2014

BEREC will hold a workshop on Relevant Markets on 26 February 2014. The meeting will take place at Sheraton Hotel in Stockholm and it will start at 13.00.

As highlighted in its Work Programme for 2014, BEREC will increasingly engage in dialogue with stakeholders on the main relevant topics in the pipeline during 2014.

The workshop in Stockholm will deal with the upcoming revision of the Relevant Market Recommendation. BEREC Chair 2014 Göran Marby, will welcome the participants and handle the topic related to the market developments in the longer term - the effects of demand and consumer behaviour on market definitions and regulation.

According to the draft Agenda, now available on line after an introductory part, in the second session of the workshop there will be two discussion panels:

-       Panel discussion I: Which markets to regulate from 2015 onward? - Reshaping the Relevant Market Recommendation

-       Panel discussion II: The evolution of markets and regulatory needs affecting the Recommendation in the future
