11th BEREC Stakeholder Forum opening

BEREC will hold its annual Stakeholder Forum on 26 March 2024 in Brussels, at Hotel Le Plaza - check out the full conference programme! Participation in the event is subject to prior registration

Meet & Greet and Conference
The BEREC Forum will follow its traditional event format that includes Meet & Greet sessions  (30-minute informal meetings that allow stakeholders to interact with the BEREC Working Group Co-Chairs) in the morning, followed by lunch and a conference, and concluding with a networking reception.

The afternoon’s programme will commence with opening remarks from the Incoming BEREC Chair, Robert Mourik (ComReg, Ireland), along with the current BEREC Chair, Tonko Obuljen (HAKOM, Croatia). This opening session will address any questions or proposals from attendees, both in person and online, related to projects that might be included in BEREC’s Work Programme for 2025.

This will be followed by two panel discussions, moderated by Philippe Defraigne (Director, Cullen International), focussing on the European Commission’s policy initiative for tackling Europe’s digital infrastructure needs, and the increasing importance of security and resilience in this sector.

The Incoming BEREC Chair, Robert Mourik: “We look forward to welcoming you to the 12th BEREC Stakeholder Forum. This annual event presents a great opportunity for legislators, industry representatives and thought leaders in the electronic communications sphere to meet with BEREC members and engage in meaningful dialogue. We have put together a timely and broad-ranging programme and anticipate lively engagement from both in-person and online participants.”
