Public debriefing on the outcomes of the 64th BEREC ordinary meetings

On Wednesday, 8 October 2025, at 14:00 CEST, BEREC will hold a hybrid public debriefing. This event will share insights and outcomes from the 64th BEREC ordinary meetings (2-3 October 2025). We welcome participants to join us in person at the IRG Secretariat, located at Rue de la Science 14a, 3rd floor, Brussels, or to follow the livestream on the BEREC website. 

What is coming?

The BEREC Chair, Robert Mourik (ComReg, Ireland), along with the Co-Chairs of the Working Groups, will present the following adopted documents for publication:

Furthermore, the incoming BEREC Chair 2026, Marko Mišmaš (AKOS, Slovenia), will present the draft BEREC Work Programme for 2026 and will be available to answer questions from stakeholders regarding the public consultation on the document.

In addition, the debriefing will cover other key outcomes of BEREC’s 64th plenary meetings, including the results of the BEREC Chairmanship 2027 elections and an announcement of the new composition of the BEREC Miniboard for 2026. BEREC Chair Robert Mourik (ComReg, Ireland) will also provide information regarding the recent study trip to the United Kingdom.

Registration

BEREC invites industry stakeholders and policymakers to attend the debriefing in order to gain insights into BEREC's work, and encourages them to participate in the discussions on the regulatory framework, which will shape the future of electronic communications in the EU.

Those interested in attending the debriefing in person are invited to register early (form below), as space in the meeting room is limited. The event will be livestreamed on the BEREC website and those following online will have the possibility to ask questions via the Q&A chat box.

Engagement with speakers

We encourage all participants, both in-person and online, to engage with the speakers by asking questions.

You are invited to send questions ahead of the debriefing:

During the event, in-person participants are welcome to raise their hands to ask for the floor. Online participants can submit their questions via the Q&A chat box, located next to the livestream window on the BEREC website's landing page.
