Italy Emergency applications Flag Mii - Through the APP it is possible to establish a chat window with the first level PSAP Operator who will intermediate the contact between the user and the emergency services needed. Since October 2019 the APP is available for the disabled users on the whole italian territory. For the "FlagMii" App, the PSAPs 1 of the Piedmont Region are in charge of managing the emergency communications and of contacting the relevant emergency response organization. Italy Emergency applications Where Are U - The end-user can place a call selecting, through a button, the most appropriate PSAP2; the call will be placed towards the relevant emergency number. The call can be placed as a "silent" call indicating that no voice contact is possible. The Where Are U app supports a chat client, so the first level PSAP Operator is able to intermediate the contact between the user and the emergency services needed. Romania Other The eCall System enables the placing of an emergency call from inside the vehicle to the 112 System. This call can be placed automatically, through the activation of a set of in-vehicle sensors or manually, and it is established through mobile wireless communications networks, sending a standardised minimum set of data (MSD) and establishing an audio channel between the occupants of the vehicle and the most appropriate public safety answering point.
