Overview of the regulatory treatments of termination rates for voice calls originated outside the EEA and their impacts on cross-border traffic and settlements

The purpose of this report is first to give an overview of practices from NRAs and operators across the EEA concerning the treatment of out-of-EEA calls, and then to study, from a practical point of view, their impacts over cross-border traffic and settlements, between EEA and non-EEA countries, both inbound and outbound. It should be noted that more than a half of the NRAs surveyed already apply a different regulatory treatment to out-of-EEA calls. The current document is for internal use and is not available to public.
