Decision No MB/2025/08 of the Management Board of the Agency for Support for BEREC (BEREC Office) for applying Decision C(2025) 2495 final of 13 May 2025 on the general provisions for implementing Articles 11, 12 and 13 of Annex VII to the Staff Regulations
The European Commission (EC) adopted Decision C(2025) 2495 on 13 May 2025, establishing general provisions for implementing Articles 11, 12, and 13 of Annex VII to the Staff Regulations of Officials and on authorised travel. This decision entered into force within the Commission on the date of its adoption, i.e. 13 May 2025.
The Decision includes a revised guide for missions and authorised travel, putting forward a number of novelties concerning the simplification and update of procedures. It also incorporates new provisions on environmental sustainability and ethical principles, along with updated financial conditions for staff missions.
In line with the Staff Regulations, Commission staff implementing rules apply by analogy to all agencies and take effect at the agencies nine months after the Commission's notification. However, to ensure earlier compliance with these rules, the BEREC Office Management Board adopted Decision MB/2025/08, which ensures that the new EC mission rules apply to the BEREC Office as of 13 May 2025.
