Decision No MB/2025/09 of the Management Board of the Agency for Support for BEREC (BEREC Office) setting out ethics rules and rules on the prevention and management of conflicts of interest in respect of the staff members of the BEREC Office

Ethical behavior and prevention and management of conflict of interests is a vital part of good administrative performance of the European Institutions, bodies and Agencies. It is crucial to ensure the BEREC Office independence and to maintain the trust of stakeholders and citizens in the Agency’s integrity. Conflicts of interest, actual or perceived, may put integrity of the decision-making process into question and also represent a reputational risk.

Therefore, the BEREC Office Management Board (MB) adopted Decision MB/2025/09 that sets out the rules on ethics and rules on the prevention and management of conflicts of interest of the BEREC Office staff, which further details the provisions of the BEREC Regulation and the EU Staff Regulations and CEOS.

More information about the requirements for the BEREC Office staff on ethics and management of conflict of interest can be found in the Decision adopted by the MB.
