Decision No MB/2025/12 of the Management Board of the Agency for Support for BEREC on the Anti-Fraud Strategy 2026-2028

The BEREC Office has prepared its renewed Anti-Fraud Strategy (AFS) 2026–2028, developed in line with the 2024 OLAF Methodology and Guidance and reflecting the results of the 2025 Fraud Risk Assessment. The preparation of the new Strategy followed the evaluation of the AFS 2023–2025 , which confirmed that all planned actions were implemented and provided the basis for the 2025 fraud-risk assessment.

On this basis, the AFS establishes four operational objectives translated into concrete actions set out in the Action Plan:

  • safeguarding the confidentiality and integrity of information;
  • ensuring ethical conduct of staff;
  • promoting integrity among BEREC and Management Board members; and
  • strengthening fraud prevention and awareness mechanisms.
