Decision of the BEREC Office MC for the adoption of a Financing Decision for organising and financing BEREC and BEREC Office events in 2014

According to Article 68 (2) of the BEREC Office Financial Regulation (Decisions MC/2014/1) every commitment and expenditure has to be preceded by a financing decision. That Article also states that the Office Work Programme (WP) is equivalent to a financing decision.In that respect one of the annexes to the Office WP for 2014 (document MC (13) 61) envisaged certain expenditure for organising BEREC and BEREC Office events in 2014 based indicative estimate prepared by the BEREC Office before the adoption of the BEREC Work Programme, which according to the legislation in place is prepared later that the BEREC Office Works ProgrammeIn order to ensure better organisation of the workshops and optimal use of the human and financial resources available, the EWG Chairs were asked to provide more information on the workshops by filling in a special workshop fiche. The information gathered has been summarised by the BEREC Office and taking into account the need to organise the 2nd BEREC Stakeholder Forum meeting in Brussels, the BEREC Office has made a more precised forecast, which was submitted to the Management Committee for approval under the form of the current revised Financial Regulation for organisation of events in 2014.

This decision was adopted by electronic voting procedure on 2 July 2014 and entered infor force on the day of its adoption.
